Cheryl has 20+ years experience in travel and hospitality, beginning her career with American Airlines and venturing to Hotel Sales & Catering. She has worked in Limited Service, Select Service, Full Service Resorts and Boutique Hotels. Zac earned an associate degree in the Culinary Arts from Le Cordon Bleu Atlanta. Upon graduating with honors, he moved to Chicago to cook for the Four Seasons Hotel Chicago, a Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five-Diamond award-winning hotel property. During Zac’s eight years working for the Four Seasons, he worked in the property’s banquet kitchen, main kitchen, and garde manger kitchen. Zac helped the hotel’s fine-dining restaurant, Seasons, earn its first-ever Michelin Star. In May of 2016 Zac joined Dave Miller’s catering operation, Chef By Request, and soon after evolved to be the Executive Chef of Elements at Water Street.
David Bouchard, Sous Chef

David started his journey at the Community Culinary School of Northwestern Connecticut, which ignited his passion for all things culinary. His travels led him to gain experience around the US. David was part of the pre-opening team for Azure and American Cut restaurants in Atlantic City where he worked under Executive Chef Marc Forgione. In 2013, he made the move to Illinois where he accepted a position at the Four Seasons Hotel Chicago, a Forbes Five-Star property. David’s high caliber of culinary expertise aligned perfectly with Elements success and he was soon drawn to join our culinary team in April of 2018 as Sous Chef of Elements at Water Street.

Long time Naperville Chef, Heather Young, has returned home. After a run in Phoenix and Scottsdale as Pastry Chef to some of the trendiest new hot spots, her new role began at Elements opening as Pastry Chef. Focused on seasonal ingredients, Heather blends sweet and savory to her unique pastry items, while also taking on new challenges for clients to reach further into her creative talent.

Marissa has always had a passion for the events industry and studied hospitality and communications in college. She graduated from Northern Illinois University, with a BA degree. In March of 2018, Marissa joined the administrative team at Elements. As event coordinator, Marissa engages with the majority of our social and corporate clients. Her keen attention to detail, strong work ethic, and compassion for others are key qualities of success in her current role.
